My Indianola Home

A passion project that was years in the making has now become home to my family and me. 

We set out with a challenging idea: Build a new home with old home character that could stand the test of time. We achieved this by using traditional architecture and archways, natural materials that will patina over time, and expertly-crafted custom cabinetry and millwork throughout.

Each detail from the mortar wash on the exterior brick to the toilet paper holders was thoughtfully considered. Mixed materials, textures, tones, leather, plaster, unlacquered brass and copper, traditional plumbing fixtures, and unique lighting give our home interest. Repeated elements feel intentional and thoughtful.

Vintage and antique finds live comfortably alongside new and custom furnishings and art commissioned from a local artist and family photos finish off the spaces. Our home feels welcoming and tells our story, and will function beautifully for our family, now and in the future.
